Christmas Tree Skirt and stockings

The tree skirt is this year's project, and the stockings I made last year for my kids - the blue and green is my daughters and the red and white is my sons, although some year I may make him one out of novelty fabric and take the red and white for myself.
I fell in love with the green w/ornaments moda fabric that I used for the border of the tree skirt. I wish I'd been able to use more of it in the skirt. Oh well, plenty left for another project. The pattern came out of a 1999 McCall's Quilting magazine (a friend gave me TONS of magazines when she moved).

Now that I've become so crafty quilty my goal is to make something for myself to decorate with each each year. But I'm not going to put pressure on myself. This year's Christmas has to wait until after...but thats ok. =)
