Default From clearance rack to Hunter's Star quilt!

I liked the fabric because it had an oriental look about it. But it has been staring at me for many many moons! But as I was cutting a hunter's star with a different fabric, I thought, mmmm, I wonder how this would work. The only issue was the pattern repeat wasn't really a repeat. Each 6" repeat the white flower with the blue center was facing a different direction. But I got over it. And it's DONE! Endorphins are running amok in my mind to finish.

I think it's great. I like that the flowers are not in identical places. Gives it interest. Rich colors.

That is fantastic! Great way to use the fabric so the secondary pattern of the hunters star becomes the focal point.

Yes, I'm sewing another Hunter's Star, and the stars are actually the focus (it is my avatar) and they do not look like the same pattern. But, I'm looking at fabric with focus flowers differently now.

I really had to study your quilt to see the Hunters Star. (am I the only one?) I found it and I figured out how you did it. Genius use of your fabric! You're so creative. I love the Hunters star. Fantastic quilt!
