It was a challenge to plan with the one piece centers, but once I got the hang of it, it went smoothly.

That does not look like the Hunters Star. It looks like the Morning Star quilt. I have made several of these and have one on my design wall at this time. I remember that it was a nickel quilt but I don't remember if it was by Pat Speth or not.

I am having a real hard time seeing a hunters star pattern in this pretty quilt. It must be my old eyes. It doesn't matter, the quilt is wonderful and I'm sure a closer look would unmask the hidden block and be quite a surprise for some of us.

Could someone outline the block in this quilt. I know the hunter star block and I am failing to see it here. Other novice quilters might need help seeing it too. The effect of how the fabric is used is interesting and might be something others might like to try.
