Just wanted to share my pretty tree. I found a seed pod in Maui, many years ago while on vacation, came home and planted it in a bucket. It came up, grew to be a couple of feet high and then died back during the winter. To my surprise, it came back the following Spring, so I kept it. Then after this happened the third time, I planted it in my front flower bed, never dreaming it would turn into a big tree. It still loses its leaves in winter and has to be trimmed back, but around March first it starts greening up, and by mid May it is blooming and blooms off and on until November or December... I have this as a reminder of my younger fun days. My neighbors love to see it too.
Thanks for looking. Roberta Marie :-D
