Welcome to the Quilting Board!
That is by far the best hankie quilt I have ever seen. I hope you don't mind a copy cat. That is so beautiful.
Your hanky quilt is adorable. I can recognize some of your hankies that are in my collection as well. I received some as Christmas gifts in my early teaching days. I will continue collecting more.
Your quilt is beautiful.I have used hankies for years instead of kleenex and they wear out from many washings. This is a perfect way to use those worn hankies.Thank you for the inspiration.

A dog is not "almost human" and I know of no greater insult to the canine race than to describe it as such.
Your quilt is wonderful, a great inspiration to so many of us!
BTW, have you tried googling your penpal's name? Even if she has been married, if she is on one of the school websites (Classmates.com etc.) or on Facebook, she might have her maiden name on the list of her former or other names ... if you remember her maiden name and where she was from, you might be able to locate her that way. Worth a try!
