    Default D9P Jacket

This jacket was inspired by the Quilt Board! I kept seeing all the beautiful Disappearing 9 Patch quilts posted here and decided that D9P would be a good pattern to use for a jacket. After consulting my stash (in other words, opening boxes and tossing fabrics on my sewing room table), I chose these red and gold Asian inspired fabrics. Since I chose Asian fabrics, I decided that I wanted a jacket pattern with a mandarin collar.

Beautiful. Love the pattern and the layout of your blocks.

I was having some trouble with Photoshop, but this is a close up of the frog closures I used. I bought them from Etsy and decided since they were pretty cheap, I’d take a chance on them being the right collar. The chance paid off and I’m really happy with the result.
