Great and fun quilt. That you care enough to establish relationship in this manner is wonderful. I am sure he will be overjoyed to have a quilt made by you. Star Wars fans are ardent!

He will definitely flip. I remember when Star Wars, the original movie, came out when my kids were small. After seeing Star Wars, we adopted 2 kittens, who were named: Princess Leia and Chewbacca, Princess and Chewy for short. Great quilt.

Your son can give him the quilt and say: "I AM YOUR FATHER!" It looks great.

grandson loved the quilt. says it is the best birthday present ever. got a couple great hugs in exchange. i tried teasing him by telling him if he didnt like it, i would take it back and make him something else. he immediately exclaimed 'no way". My son told me later that Austin was jealous when his younger brother Carter got a fleece star wars theme blanket for his birthday in january. said he wished he had one . my son told him he could ask me to make him one as i love doing things like that for my grandkids but Austin didnt feel comfortable asking me as he wont officially be my grandson til wedding takes place on June 9th. I am glad i could please both the boys on their birthays'
