    Darth Vader Top Finished

I had hoped to finish this for Christmas, but I attempted to pick up the backing fabric at a local warehouse on Friday and they weren't there. So, it will have to wait until the fabric arrives in the mail, likely in January (excuse my sarcasm).

I would still wrap Darth Vader up so that someone can open and be surprised with what you are making.
A Good Friend, like an old quilt, is both a Treasure and a Comfort

I agree, i'd wrap it up and they the recipient know this is what they are getting. it turned out great.
put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

I'm sorry but I can't see it good enough to see how you did this. Is this a panel and you peiced the sides? I really like this and am sorry I can't see it good. I bet it was sure a hit.

I bought the same kit. I couldn't get mine done in time for Christmas either. I pieced the back out of Star Wars fabric scraps. Still can't decide how to quilt the borders.

Great quilt. So what was his reaction when he saw it?
