Default Daughter in Laws quilt

You have to forgive me for posting 2 pictures in such a short amount of time. I just learned how to do it since everything had changed a few years ago. A fellow board member helped me out after I had tried without any luck for a long time to do this. This is a photo of my DIL's quilt. I enlarged and reworked a pattern from Laundry Basket Quilts to make this a bed size. The original pattern was a 40 X 40 wall hanging. It is all done in batiks. The Dresden Plate is one of my favorite patterns and is very forgiven to someone like me who does not always have perfect 1/4" seams.

Looks lovely! I like the color combination. Those neutral batiks are so wonderful to work with.

Hey, we LOVE pictures; post as many as you want, they'll all be oogled over, I promise!

Besides which, I've never seen a batik Dresden Plate, so this was fun to see. Very nice!

Very pretty batiks and you've done a beautiful job making the Dresdens. It will be a beautiful quilt! And you can never post too many pictures.
