Default Designed This In EQ 7 for applique

Although this started out as a pieced block design I converted it to applique. This is one of 3 designs I'm working on for consideration to use in one of my local guilds block swap later this year.

Just for fun I put it in a quilt layout to see what it would look like. I am however thinking of using this block in a quilt of my own as the center focus as the album cover and creating additionally themed blocks to create a sampler pieced/appliqued/stencil quilt.

So what do y'all think? It can it fly the way I have it or should I change something?

Beautiful!! I love two color quilts. I am not successful with my EQ7... wish I had saved my money. Takes more talent than I have. You do great work so keep it up . Thanks for sharing. Show us the quilt when it is made, as it will certainly be a winner.
