Desire to Inspire Challenge
I recently was selected to take part in the Henry Glass Desire to Inspire Challenge. Now before you start thinking I'm some quilting rock star, anyone can participate. You can find the rules on their website http://www.henryglassfabrics.blogspot.com/
The rules are pretty simple they send you fabric, you make something within 3 weeks and send them pictures. The fabric and project is yours to keep. The kicker is you have no idea what fabric they will send! Oh Boy talk about working out to the comfort zone. But I did it! They sent me Toil and Trouble by Shelly Comiskey. This fabric is way outside my comfort zone so I had to let it set for a week and fester on my brain, looking for inspiration. Finally I came up with a plan to make kitchen items for my daughter and grandkids. I've still enough fabric left to make a couple small quilts if I add more fabric.

You did such a great job with the challenge that was set before you. I also pick up something occasionally and try to make something useful and pretty. It is good sometimes to challenge yourself outside your comfort zone.
