I found this on Benartex's website; it's called "Festive Holiday". My question is about the damasks in the group. Would you consider them a non-holiday "basic", and would you use them in any-time-of-year quilts?

It would depend. But they could be used as a basic any time.

Sure. They seem formal and classy, but not necessarily Christmasy at all.

The Damask would be a beautiful background fabric. They read as solids. Just a little more elegant.

That is a beautiful line. The honey/tan stripe would be on my must have list and I am sure that the damasks if taken away from the more Christmasy fabrics would be perfect tone on tones in lots of applications.
