I made this little quilt for my cousin's daughter. She's almost 2, and her baby announcement picture had her in a Clementine Cuties orange box! Her mommy is from France & we have been trained in the correct way to say her name: Clem - on - TEEN. :D Lucky girl, she's already biligual, speaking French & English! And that means we are learning some French too! LOL
I wanted to put fabric with oranges on the back, but since I just decided to do this over the last weekend, I couldn't find any. I did find this pretty fabric with the orange background & little white flowers that reminded me of orange blossoms, so I was happy. :-) The rail fence front was made from strips I already had cut up.

I thought this looked like orange blossoms

I think it's about 36" X 36" and all machine pieced & quilted

How cute is that?!! The fabric looks exactly like orange blossoms! Such a sweet quilt. I love the story too. What a sweet little babe! She's going to be so smart! Let me know what year to vote for her presidency!
