Hi all, I got a book (and fabric!) from Ducky (in exchange for making her a wall hanging) called Wonky One Block Quilts by Marlous Carter and had to have a go! I modified the technique slightly and reduced the block size then used up the trimmings in the borders. It's pretty wild, isn't it? Not sure if I love it yet but I AM looking forward to FMQing in all those lovely big spaces! :D

realy cool. When I looked at it I saw a lava light. Then I thought it's a Lava light that stepped outside of the box. I like it. It's differnt, and beautiful.

I absolutely LOVE it! A little Austin Powers, yes, but it's terrific - and your work is perfect as usual. I may be older than you, K, but I really want to be you when I grow up. Really, really. ***Yeah, Baby, yeah. (To sound like Austin Powers)***

    You can be Mini-Me.

I like the lava lamp analogy too - it IS very sixties isn't it? I'm thinking paisley swirls in the quilting, among other things. There's a lot of hippies round here so hopefully it will find a home! :-D
