Oh my gosh, this is just too darling. Your DGD will positively squeal with delight when she sees it. I love how you stuffed some of applique elements on this and made so many things on it dimensional. Loads for your new baby girl to explore and touch. How is your grandson enjoying his "grocery store" you made a couple of years ago? Does he still play with all the wonderful fruits and vegetables you made?

That is just the most adorable quilt I think I have seen. You did a beautiful job and your granddaughter will love it.

This is such a treasure, Granny59 ... with so many G59 special touches to it, that it will be a keepsake for your precious (one and only) DGD!

I'm thrilled to have been a part of this quilt and to have seen all the sneak previews as you worked on it. What else could I do but send some pink fabric, when you finally got a girl, after all those DGSons! Though it was hardly a "gift" .... you paid dearly to free it from customs! Darn them anyway!

Thank you for the big laugh..........I forgot all about the customs!!

@ bee3. I used quilters dream puff for the batting and added some extra stuffing to some of the appliques.

@feline fanatic. In the meantime four grandsons are playing with the shop and whenever DGD (the youngest) gets the chance she grabs her share. I am flattered that you remember.........after such a long time I did not expect anybody to remember me!

What Homespun said is exactly what I was thinking. This is so cute. I see this added to my bucket list.
