In case anyone out there is still watching this thread, I just decided on my borders. The center is now 12 inches wider than it was, though those inches are off of my design wall. (My husband told me I needed a larger design wall. I hate it when he is right! )

Anyway, here is the border arrangement I have decided on. It looks good, AND I have enough fabric of those two colors. Not my first choice, but I didn't have enough fabric for that. I have managed to make all of this from my stash. Nice feeling.

Here is the picture of the borders-to-be.

The borders are a great choice and it's exciting it is getting so wide!

Are you making this for your bed?

No, it isn't for a bed, I have an oversized stuffed chair here in my sewing room that I like to cover with a quilt. I am making this quilt for that chair. It will end up about 60 x 60. Most of the things in my sewing room are purple.
