    Default Double sided T-Shirt quilt

I was commissioned to make this T-Shirt/Memory quilt. My customer had a lot of T-shirts with all different size imprints so I did the shadow box layout on the front and a simple sash with cornerstone layout on the back.
It was quilted on my LA using the Panto "Romanesque" by Willow leaf designs. I used glide thread in a deep purple color called Raven and an 80/20 batting.

I thought this T-shirt was so cool. It is called "The Devil Fishing" and is from House of Blues in New Orleans. Dangling as bait on his fishing line is money, drugs, gambling, etc. It was obvious a local artist must have come up with the design. It was a well worn T. Obviously one of her DH's favorites.

And here is the back, much simpler design and a bit easier on the eye because it isn't so busy (sorry it is sideways, I turned it in my viewing program but it must not have saved the change).

Such a nice quilt. I have never seen a two-sided T-shirt quilt before.

That is a very cool quilt, and I bet your customer will be thrilled to bits! Awesome job.

What is "glide" thread? Is that what allowed you to quilt right through the printed parts of the T's? I don't think my equipment could cope with two layers of T's - did you use stabilizer? My poor little DSM has enough trouble with one layer!
