Not one of my favorites but turned out ok ...
measures 44x44

I did not piece these plates, they were salvaged from an old quilt that had been damaged beyond repair! But the fabric in these plates was still in VERY good condition.

What a lovely way to salvage these beautiful antique dresden plates!

I also have noticed that the background fabric on quilts of this sort seems to 'give out' first, while the plates or the wedding ring pieced parts may only need a stitch or two where they didn't have a wide enough seam allowance in a few spots.
