    Default Dresden Turkey wallhanging

This half dresden was in some scraps gifted to me. It was calling out to be a turkey. When I lived in MN, the wild turkeys used to live in the woods and open space behind our building. And we lived near the river where the bald eagles nested, so it was not unusual to see them flying about. I finished it a few minutes ago in time to take to my daughter as a hostess gift for dinner today.

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate today.

Your turkey has a cute expression on his face. Guess he gets to live another day.
