My hubby's Aunt Rosalie resides in the Alzheimer's unit at a local nursing home. Knowing that we were quilters, the staff asked my MIL (her sister) and I to design and make a wall quilt that would feature the names of nursing home residents that had passed away. The quilt had some issues during construction but all was well in the end. Names are added by the staff in Pigma pen as needed.

Finished quilt

What a beautiful way to honor the people who suffered from that hideous disease. It's beautiful :)
What a caring bunch the staff and you quilters are.

That is a wonderful thing you have done. I know first hand how hard it is to do that when you have a love one there.

Same for me!!! I have an aunt that has this TERRIBLE disease and it pains me to see her decline. I try to remember all the happy times we've had together. She is like a mother to me!!
The staff there is very caring and truly amazing people.
