    Default Effervescence Quilts

Mother and daughter quilts gifted across the pond to England. Sent these two quilts to my son's girlfriend and her mum for Xmas. They were great fun to make. Used velour for the backing and it came out very nice. Used 1/2 inch batting, gold thread on the top and black on the bottom. Hope they enjoy them. Primary fabric was Fabric Freedom's Camden Cafe, designed in London.

Beautiful fabric and the quilting really compliments it. Love the diamond patter you did.

They are beautiful! I love them. How elegant! I bet the velour backing feels so cozy.

    And welcome to the board!

Great quilt and so cuddly with velour on the back! Did you put batt in or just quilted with velour back?
