    Was the Royal Cross difficult? I've admired that block for a long time but I'm intimidated by templates!

    no, i found it in fons & porter's "quilter's complete guide" & i didn't think it was hard at all it looks like it would be a pain but i needed to see it in other colors than those presented so i tackled it TRY IT!
