We have a silent auction at our family reunion and the proceeds go to pay for the next reunion. Every one is suppose to bring something for the auction. This quilt is my contribution.

Boy my sister would love that. She is the historian in the family.

The large yellow sections on the tree top (its actually green just looks yellow in the pic) leaves space for every one attending the reunion to sign in the section of their ancestor. Ones who died without having children were listed on the tree trunk as if their names were engraved into the tree trunk. It was a fun project.
