My Thrift Store finds
#1

I've never gone to Thrift Stores looking for fabric, but after reading on here how many people do, I decided to try my luck. Below are pictures of my finds. However, the pictures don't do the fabric justice. The green with big plaids is 1 1/4 yard for $2.49 total marked down to $1.74. The lavender was 3 1/2 yds for $2.49 total. The green/black little plaid was 1 1/4 yards for total of $1.49. Red pin stripe, which doesn't show up good at all in the picture, was 5 1/2 yds for total of $2.99. The bin next to the fabric had (13) 12 X 12 squares of beautiful embroidered flowers. Each square was $1.49. The squares said, "take me home and quilt me". So I bought all 13 squares. I will quilt 12 of them and use the 13th square for a pillow top. I was so excited with my finds.

It's a good thing I don't know where you live or those embroidered blocks would disappear tonight!
