I have been wanting to go into the fashion district of L.A. for some time now. It is the largest in the united states.
Red, thanks for the tip on the fashion district. My daughter would love that. She loves to shop. Just the thing for my next visit.

OH MY GOD I WANT TO MOVE BACK TO THE USA!!! If there is one thing that I don't like about being on this board is hearing how cheap you guys get fabric for. Here in the UK it is about £8-£10 a metre (a metre is 1.09 yds). Thats USD $13 - $16 a metre! **sob** :(

Sorry for that little rant but I am having a tough time with money at the moment, prices of everything have gone up here, plus I have just started paying some back tax so my expendible income has shrunk to nearly nothing. I just can't afford to buy fabric at those prices.

I love all the fabrics you bought, sounds like you had a blast. A real 'Aladdins Cave' of fabric at that shop!

That's great to know, in case I ever go down to southern CA., which is very highly unlikely, which actually is good for me, because I really don't have any more room for any more fabric.LOL Love your fabrics though.
