Well a lady at DH office is having a baby in Nov..What it is already Nov.!!
I need it by Friday..well plenty on time you say? Well DH is going in for knee surgery on Wednesday..He will be in hospital till Saturday so that just leaves today and tomorrow..I can bring it with me and do the binding while I sit with him..I ran in there yesterday and threw these squares together. Oh course I don't like them after they got put together and don't know what to do with them..Was going to just sew them together and put a pink border but now I feel like the need something to divide them..But what color?? Help what would you do??

Looks good to me, but if you wanted to add some spark to it maybe a strip of pink in between the blocks? I love the fabrics. It look kind of antique looking to me.

I think the blocks are beautiful just they way they are, all warm and colorful. But, if you think it needs sashing I would say maybe a soft creamy color.

I like them the way they are. A border on the outside would put a nice frame to it.

I think you have the right idea...sew them together and add a pink border. She will love it

I personally would sash them... this way you don't have to worry as much about the points being absolutely perfect. They aren't quite as noticeable with a solid color in the corners... I like the less stressy way to do anything.

The sashing will also give it a kind of modern looking twist to it instead of scrappy - not that scrappy is bad cause it isn't. I guess I like it better with the sashing between the squares for some reason. I'm in the minority lol.

I like it the way it is, also. Adding sashing would be fine too; but there's someing inviting and charming in the first layout. I like your fabrics.

I think it's fine the way it is.

But, if you want too, add giant ric rac as a substitute sashing. Maybe even wait until you are quilting it so you can quilt and add ric rac at the same time.

If you add a pink border, you might want to make sure your pink blocks are not on the outside.

They will be happy no matter what you do. Something homemade is always special.

Just thought of something to make it easier for you to sew the blocks together if you don't do sashing.

Rotate every other block so there will be less bulk on the seams.

If it's too crazy-busy for your taste, then sashing is your friend. I'd go with either a bright white or pink or purple. But do stash that advice about rotating the blocks; it'll make a future project go more smoothly.
