Sharon Craig says use whatever color you want to be predominate. If you like pink quilts, use pink, green quilts use green, etc. lay they out on a few different fabrics and see the difference it makes. But I would use a not too busy fabric, like tone on tone.

I also think they look pretty together without sashing, but if you want to add sashing that would be fine too. Good luck to your DH with his knee surgery.

I would sash them with a soft pink. Also border it with the same soft pink & then another border of a brighter pink. Your blocks are great.

Well thanks everyone..Took me all day to make my mind up..decided I was going to sash it with white. Went to wal-mart and got white. Then I couldn't get it to fit like I wanted it to so ended up sewing them together and put a white border around it. Going to bind it with several colors from quilt sewn together...Hopefully will get it quilted today! Well see???

I would do a soft creamy sashing and a a pink binding.
What is the backing fabric's color?

I don't think they need sashing. I think they would look great just sewn to each other. Faster, too, right??? :-)
