Most times I think these quilts are the best and most beautiful of all......Mainly because they are the epitome of a quilt....three layers stitched together, with love, care and utility in mind. No matter where it travels and what it's use it will always carry with it beauty and function.

OKSGlad ... You are a true blessing to those who will receive your kindness! The one you have shown us has such a fresh and cheery look to it. I'm sure your others are just as lovely and will be so welcomed!

Thank you all--for it is in giving that we receive. I still remember my sister, a Peace Corps volunteer, told of the young man who wore a t-shirt ribbing around his neck. When asked why, she was told the man was showing that at one time he could afford to have a shirt. Makes us think twice, doesn't it?

At one time I had heard that a group was making not so pretty quilts for the homeless that lived in tents and under bridges. They needed them to be warm, but if they were pretty, they would get stolen from them.
