Others probably asked, too, but I wanted to see the finished quilt. I just knew it would be well done as your granddaughter took care with the piecing. Congratulations to you and to her for a job well done.

Beautiful girl and beautiful quilt! Great job, Nadia! I love to use my embroidery stitches as quilting stitches too. I think it adds to the quilt. Thank you for teaching her to sew. She will enjoy it for the rest of her life and remember you while she does it. You are creating your legacy.

She did a great job. And I'm glad you let her use the decorative stitches. After all, it is her quilt.

Both are adorable. Happy to see a budding quilter - she looks very happy and proud.

Aren't grand kids great! One of my grand daughters started sewing when she was 8 she hand sewed a pillowcase for my DH's knee pillow & started watching me teach myself to quilt & she started right up behind me. She's 13 now & has 5 small quilts under her belt. She does an awesome job of matching fabric from my scraps. Grandkids Rule! LOL

I love when young people get into sewing! Our craft will live on. The quilt came out beautifully
