Finally...yellow "2010" quilt is on the bed.

Our small quilting group of five decided that each of us would make this quilt. They were to be finished by Sept of 2010 to enter in our local quilt show. No one was able to finish on time but, at last, mine is on the bed for the summer. I used a Fig Tree fabric for mine. A local church group hand quilted it for me and I am very happy with their work. I'd love to say I did the quilting but just don't have the time to do a large quilt, but I did quilt the pillows. The pictures don't show how pretty the colors are.

Love your colors! The quilting is really beautiful. Matches the design of the quilt perfectly. I can see why you are so happy. Congratulations, well done.

Beautiful quilt, and the hand quilting makes it all the more special. I love the soft colors in the quilt.

The quilting on this is fabulous and really accentuates the beautiful quilt. Would you mind sharing what the quilt pattern is? I have some beautiful striped fabric that might be fun to use.

I don't see how the colors could be much prettier! I just get the feeling of walking into the bedroom and breathing a deep sigh of peace.

It's a lovely quilt. Such soft, gentle, cozy colors. Very serene looking.
