Default Pioneer Sampler with Kansas Troubles fabrics

Mary pieced this lovely quilt from the pattern "Pioneer Sampler" from a Quilt in a Day book by Eleanor Burns. I love her fabric choices and since traditional is always a favorite of mine I throughly enjoyed quilting Mary's quilt. Hobb's 80/20 batting is used and I do like to match the thread color with the top fabric. Ruler and freehand quilting is used throughout this quilt.

I really like that. The colors, piecing and quilting all work together so nicely.

The quilt is beautiful and your quilting does so much for it's beauty. Great job by both!

The quilt and quilting is beautiful. I just found out that I have that small stippling design on my machine and it never dawn on me that I could use it on my quilts. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! So beautiful and precise. I love the way you quilted this beautiful quilt. I always love to see the backs of the quilts to admire the stitching and yours is a stunner! Thanks for sharing.
