One of my daughters has one of these her great-grandma made, she called it a "biscuit" quilt and it took her 8 months to make handsewing the puffs.

This one is entirely machine sewn from a blog tutorial I found, in only 2 days (plus an hr to finish turning the back for cheater binding). It's for a new mama-to-be on my dart team (who found out she was pregnant when she was almost 20 wks!) and it's a boy. I had to make a little t@ggie to match.

I will say it was a heavy beast to muscle through the machine, good thing it's baby size. I machine tacked each of the puff intersections and did a little ditch stitching on the borders & corners. I loosely followed the directions (cuz I apparently couldn't read :? ) found here: http://www.honeybearlane.com/

Off to the washer, one of my cats LOVED laying on it when my back was turned, lol.

Oh, it's very cute and hugable. I used the same colors in the quilt for my newest DGS (see my avatar). They really turn out well.

Oh, I just want to cuddle in it . . . but it doesn't look nearly big enough! Nice job.

That is so pretty. I love the taggie too. Puff quilts always look so soft and inviting. Great job and thanks for sharing.

I like it, too. I made one for my first grandson...he STILL has it stashed (he's to "old" to have a baby blanket)...LOL Good job!
