No, it's not. That's a semi formal dress that I bought a few years ago. The dressmaker's dummy is though. My house has a Victorian theme and I wanted to showcase a vintage looking dress that I had. She loaned me "Esmeralda" at that time. Several years later, she gave her to me. Now Esmeralda stands beside my Standard treadle machine in the living room sporting a different dress each season.

Love the quilts and runners, but that mankin dressed standing by the window is a jewel, love it. I have a dress from long ago and size of my youth would look great displayed that way instead of hiding in the back of my closet. good idea.. thanks for sharing

The dressmaker's dummy is though. She loaned me "Esmeralda" at that time. The she was my aunt who also named the dressmaker's dummy. She's passed away now, so when I look at it, I think of her.

Now Esmeralda stands beside my Standard treadle machine in the living room sporting a different dress each season. I have no idea on how old she is. I've looked for any info that would help date her.
