Tumbler #3....
#1
This is my 3rd tumbler...love the tumbler. I am not a big scrappy fan...I like other peoples..but I just do not have the vision to do one...I create a pattern when doing tumblers. This one is for my queen bed in the guestroom. It took less tumblers than I thought it would. I will cut the sides and put on a light/medium green today and than FMQ it. I am hoping to bind it tomorrow evening after Easter Brunch.
The Green and Pink blocks are fairies and the rest of the blocks are all roses. Can't wait till I have real flowers in my garden...

Debating on my next project...I have the wizard of oz fabric and thinking the drunken path may work. My only fear is cutting the fabric to small that you can't see the prints. I may just do a circle in a square. Hmmm..it would be like the witch is holding the glass ball. I think I just figured out my next quilt...LOL

Pretty quilt! I love the color choices they make it flow very nicely.
I've been cutting tumble blocks from pieces left from my charity quilts. I wish I had time to start sewing them together.

I have been busy making quilts for the house...and also family members. My sons love theirs and now want another one for their wives...so they can each have their own...so happy they requested more...that is what they will get for christmas....or maybe birthday. I made my Dad one but it was one of my first ones so may make him another one...I have improved since then...my sister, Mom, Hubby. I now have reconnected with some Aunts after 15 years so may try and create a few for them too...the wizard of oz will be for my sister inlaw...boy the list keeps going...I don't have time for charity quilts...than again I guess theses are all charity quilts too.... ; ) I wish it was cheaper to make...its 100.00 and up since I try and use all LQS material...to make each quilt. Oh well...I do love making them and giving them to all of my family members. Still so many to do.
