I just want to say "Thank you" to everyone for all your kind comments on my 'Birdie House Quilt'. I have learned so much by reading this site and looking at the very beautiful quilts you all produce. I am so fired up and am going to make some more quilts, this time for my grandchildren. Meanwhile, I shall practice more of the quilting. It makes a change from my usual knitting, crocheting and normal dressmaking and repairs.Thank you so much and you have given me much more confidence.

You are very brave, posting the very first quilt you made. Congrats, your pride is only topped by your results. Keep up the good work and from one newbie to another, keep reading the posts here. I have learned so much from the experts who discuss quilting on the digest. Maybe someday I can be as brave and post a picture of something I have made.
