My first attempt of making a "pillow case" dress

I made a pillow case dress for my DIL's niece. She will be 3 at the end of this month. She looks cute in these kind of dresses, so I found a pattern online and made her one. I'll be giving it to her this weekend. I'll post a picture later of her wearing it.

For a pattern I just looked up "pillow case dresses". I did find these places that helped...www.fabshophop.com
    www.everythingsewing.net

    www.homeketeers.com

    www.annamariahorner.com

I just sort of looked at the pictures and figured it out.

    I hope this helps.

My granddaughters all love to wear these and so fun to choose fabric for and quickly sew up! You have made a real sweet and colorful one.

That is so cute, makes me wish my grandbabies were still that small and willing to wear something I'd make.

Very cute? Aren't they fun to make? Four in our church sewing group just sent 145 of them to Nicaragua this week.
