    Doesn't it feel good to get that first one completely done? It does remind of quilts I use to nap on as a child, and I love the blues. Now you have some experience to draw on, and you will find your skills just get better and better with each one you make. Have fun and keep making quilts.

    It definitely has the look you're going for. I love those as well. I think it needs some tie knots to complete that look. If I were doing it that's what i would add anyways. Probably because those old patchwork quilts *I* am used to (and I"m not that old so I remember these from my grandparents' beds), all had tie knots so those add to that nostalgic feel for me.

    I like it. I like the placement of the blocks and the colors. I like that it is reversible. I have found I tend to quilt more now than when I first started, the quilt seems to last longer.
