It's a wonderful quilt and he's going to love getting wrapped in it and staying warm. I've had eyelashes and 3+ years on childs quilt and still holding up. It will be fine.

Great quilt. The problem with the loops on the underside may be the bobbin is not wound tight enough. My mom and I messed with her long arm for a few months and it turned out to be the bobbin winder on the machine just didn't do it good enough. She bought a stand alone bobbin winder and totally solved the problem. I bought on from Joanns and it worked but it didn't wind it full so we were always running out. So she got one made for the job.

Beautiful, bright, cheerful quilt. The red sashing makes the quilt!
