    Default First finish for 2013

My friend wanted a small quilt to keep in the car for when she is chilly or a/c is too cold for her. Started it at least month ago, but just finished it yesterday.

I love making quilts with two sides... This one wasn't supposed to be that way, but all those blocks just didn't play nice together. So I put the plain black between them, put all the red blocks on one side and the rest of the black/white/gray on the other.

This is the first time I ever tried to FMQ a pattern. Not great, but not awful for my first time.

Very nice. Great job. Two for the price of one. Good idea.

Terrific quilt! Your friend will always have lots to look at, on either side. Nicely done!
