I did it!! Queen size, D9P, SID on my Brother DSM. I am relatively new to the board and thank God for this forum. I am self taught so followed your posts for help and inspiration, I couldn't have done it without you. This quilt was made with swatches given to me from a friend years ago and that was my challenge: to piece w only what I had on hand. I have wanted to quilt for over 30 years so its a dream finally realized. I can't say its perfect, I have a few regrets on decisions (or lack of) but overall I am thrilled! It looks like a quilt and didn't even fall to pieces in the wash. Colors aren't quite right buts its POURING outside so indoors and on my bed (!) it is. Cleaning up my room and onto #2, same challenge. Woohoo!

Wow, you did a wonderful job on your first quilt - now you will be hooked and soon you will have an overflowing stash. I am sure your family will enjoy all the creations that you make - you are a natural.
