Default First Rag Quilt

My gand daughter's birthday is coming up and her Birthday Theme is U of A. So, I put a rag quilt together for her. I'm a new at quilting and this is my first rag quilt. I used flannel and the finishing product takes a lot of work, cleaning the lint off, is there a technic for it? I used a Navajo rug like design, this design reminds me of my mother's rug design. I'm a Navajo Indian and I want to incorporate our Native designs in my quilting. Top design, Bottom design and a closer look

Great job....yes, lint is a problem. I line dry and go over the quilt with the crevice tool on my vaccuum.

Fabulous! I did a University of Michigan one! I think rag quilts are perfect for sport themes! http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t152774.html

I especially love it because U of A is my university! Great looking quilt. And lint is a problem......again and again.

Be sure to clean your dryer very well, lint can cause a fire.

It is beautiful, she will love it.
