I am finally trying to post a picture of one of my quilts. This is one I made this summer for my friend's birthday. She is crazy about flamingos!
It is machine quilted, which is not my favorite but sometimes speed is necessary.

Too cute!! I can't wait to show this to my BIL he is a flamingo fanatic!! My sister, however, is trying very hard to break him of his flamingo fasination LOL. Maybe I should make him one for his birthday he can use as his flamingo fix when sister takes all his other pink birds away :D.

I love the flamingos. The pattern looks pretty basic. Is it mostly squares and hst's? I have not seen a piecing pattern for flamingos. Just PP. Where did you get the pattern? Very pertty!
