WOW! Your quilting is fantastic. Mine look so primitive compared to yours. They are all beautiful.

these are all beautiful but I can't choose a favorite between the flamingo, and the blue bird!
I have always loved flamingos but i remember growing up sitting at my grand-parents house and watching the blue birds fly up and sit on the old rusted barbed wire fence!

They are all very nice! I love how the block overlaps the border in the first one. :)

Thanks all for your nice comments.

The first one took me about two weeks stitching around 1.5 hours a night. The flamingo took me a night (around 4 hours), since one I started I could not stop myself. I loved the way it was coming out and wanted to see it finished. The Bluebird took about 2 hours.

So you did it on a quilting machine instead of a sewing machine (the quilting, that is)???? I'm impressed! I've GOT to get in and figure out what all I can do with my quilting machine!

I did it with my regular sewing machine, Bernina Artista 630. I have a Longarm in my dreams, but when I go to my sewing room is not there. Someday!!!

WOW! Those are terrific! I do have a thing for flamingos! And the bluebird is our state bird here in Missouri! And I love how you went outside the box! Great work! And on a regular machine!

Oh my goodness... I have the kit for that Butterfly Kisses quilt! lol I keep looking at it and thinking I must get it done, it's soooo beautiful. And you're right, it just doesn't photograph well. I have yet to see a good shot of it. I bought the kit because I saw the quilt made up in real life, it's stunning, beautiful rich colours and depth. You've done a gorgeous job on it, well done!! :D
