    Default Floral Log Cabin WIP

Thanks to barnbum for posting her watercolor floral log cabin! It's gorgeous, so I sent a picture of it to one of my sisters who is known as "The Flower Lady" in southeastern CT. Of course she fell in love with it, like I did, so I told her I'd start working on something similar for her. Here's the first block finished, and have 47 more that need two more rounds completed. I used 1 1/2" strips and the finished block measures about 13.5" square. Can't WAIT to see how this all turns out!

    Thanks for looking!

I know the quilt you are talking about and can't wait to see yours. I too, have been gathering floral fabrics for some time now so that I could start my own. Yours is going to be great and you have made a start which is more than I can say! Keep us posted of your progress.
