    The only way I know is to latch hook. I this done the same? cause I cant seee the tuffs like you do with wool. It looks awesome. Another way to use up scraps too.

    To do LOCKER HOOKING you use a hook that looks somewhat like a crochet hook with a eye at the other end. The fabric is folded in 3, you then pull the fabric from the bottom of the matting up to the top, you can hook about 4-5 stitches on the needle at a time, then you pull the hook through the stitches and on the other end of the hook(where the eye is) there is cording and you pull that through
    The size of the rug is 21 x 31
