I made these geese using Quilt in a Day's 4 x 8 geese rulers. It was so quick and simple. I love shortcuts and I love batiks! The quilting was done by Katydids in Niceville, Florida. It's an edge-to-edge pantograph. We are moving to Colorado Springs in less than a month; and I wanted to give my son a new quilt as a 'housewarming gift.'

The quilt measures 80 x 84. It contains 119 geese.

I used leftover fabric to make long strips for the border.

I love this 'Polynesian' pantograph design for the quilting. The back is flannel for added warmth in the Colorado winters.

My son really likes it. Batiks are great to use on quilts for teenagers.

Great job! Look at that smile. Could any other payment be worth as much as that?
