flying to hawaii
#1
my brother brought me a big stack of this beautiful fabric last time he was in hawaii. not wanting to cut it up i put it together with pin wheels that represent propellers. so now i can fly off to hawaii, too. the dark border is deep brown with gold veins. when i saw it i thought of lava. lots of lava in hawaii.
this is a couch throw. i will use the brown for the binding and now i just need to figure out how to quilt it.

I would choose either an all over design, or in the ditch on the diagonal....but what do I know...!!!lol!!!

although i think we should go home to spain with you after hawaii. i spent a couple of wks in spain about a hundred yrs ago (in the late 60's) and i absolutely loved the country. the people were so friendly. they made us feel so welcome in their country. it was a lovely experience.
