This was difficult for me to do the FMQ as it had two layers of cotton batting (per customers request) in the quilt. I did the FMQ on my 1950 Featherweight. The back was flannel and the front was done with the 10 minute block using cotton Alabama collegiate material. It measured 50 x 50". The extra batting seemed to cause the center of the 10 minute block to curl just a little. I quilted the script Alabama "A" in between the blocks. I wasn't really pleased with it but the customer was thrilled. It was ordered for a baby girl due in December for one of my Assistant Managers.

I'm super impressed that you quilted that on a featherweight! Great job.

Just figured out what RTR meant. ROLL TIDE ROLL. DUH? I even went to the abbreviations list. How dumb am I?

That's very nice. I'm working on a Univ of Alabama quilt myself!
