And so it grew! I needed one more block for this setting so I added the one in the top right. It was so quick and easy. I may have to use it again. It's a fun block and can be found at

    http://www.azpatch.com/bom/bom2001/04apr01/bom01apr.htm

As usual the quilt used up all of my pink fabric and I had to buy more. I used that up and had to go shopping again! I had some big luck this time because I found the perfect fabric for the back. It's Tropical Camouflage by Moda. So, there it is ready to be sandwiched and quilted but I'm putting it away until the new year some time. I want to do Christmas stuff now!

Oh, by the by, it now measures around 80" square. I told you, it grew some!! Quilting is going to be a joy!

Yes! Kimchee has a mouth on him! My brother said if I understood what he was saying I'd have to wash his mouth out! Trust me! I know what he's saying and it's not nice!!!

I love that tropical camouflage! I want a shirt out of it! Probably won't have any leftovers there either. Too bad. I bought everything they had too!

I barely had it on the floor for it's picture until Kimchee was there to help! Ever tried to move a quilt top with 18 pounds sitting on top? Oh, yeah! Fun!!!

I'm not usually drawn to pastels, but seeing this grow into a beautiful top has been a joy!

Awesome quilt Yvonne Love the on point setting  They have a habit of growing don't they. Now you can all that fun of rebuilding your pinks, I love shopping for fabric :P . By the way don't fancy your chances of getting it away from the quilt inspector

Yvonne, I just love your quilt. I wish I had thought to coordinate my fabrics better when I started to do the BOM'S. Thats why I love this board, I will know what to do next time.

Thank you everyone! You are all so good for ones ego!! :D I'm feeling all warm just from your sweet comments! Who needs a quilt? Oh, what did I just say? I love it here. You motivate me to move along to the next project.

When the moda pinks came out a few years back I fell in love with them and had purchased most of their group. I had no idea what I'd do with them at that point but when we started this BOM here it just seemed the right place for the pinks to be. For a while I was a little overwhelmed by all that pink but in the end I'm very happy with the results. This is my quilt. (daughters hate pink! )

Miranda, Kimchee cat was named after the Korean kimchi dish. Kimchi is very a very smelly food and when we adopted Kimchee as a kitten he was .... well, I'm sure you've figured it out. As many have said, I'm sure he thinks this is his quilt too! He's already taken over two others!!!
