    Finally got another project finished. We've been doing lots of travelling this month so not a lot of time left for quilting!

    I found this gold center piece fabric in the Wish Upon a Quilt in Raleigh NC the 10th and got the piecing finished, and the quilting on the Bailey done before we took off again to visit our grandkids for a couple days - just finished the binding last night...

    It's a small 'throw' - 41x54, mainly because there was only a tiny bit of the gold left on the bolt! If there had been more, the quilt would have been bigger :lol: see how that works! Then I wanted to use what I had for the back - those cream squares on the top/sides/bottom/ are the same fabric as the back...

    All the fabrics have gold metallic on them, so "Fools Gold" is the name:

    What a great way to use a focus fabric. I ususally pass them up because I am clueless what to do with them. Thanks for the inspiration.

    That's really pretty!! Is that the fabric you got at Fabric by the Pound in Summerdale?
